Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students in a K-12 public school setting near Baltimore, MD. This contract assignment runs from mid-February through the end of May 2026, with the possibility of extension into the Extended School Year (ESY) program in July.
Responsibilities include providing speech therapy services to students in PreK through 5th grade. The caseload will be divided between two elementary schools: Magnolia Elementary for three days per week and Prospect Mill Elementary for two days per week. The role requires delivering direct speech-language support, collaborating with teachers and therapists, ensuring documentation of student progress, and maintaining compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as an SLPA
- Experience working with children in elementary school settings (PreK-5th Grade)
- Ability to implement speech-language plans under supervision
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, on-site only (no hybrid or remote options)
